Prayers for Ukraine

We want to thank everyone for the texts, emails, phone calls and support during this time. We are so blessed to have so many people love us so much and be concerned for our safety.  

We have been praying continuously for wisdom and direction from the Lord. We don’t feel an urgency to leave as of now, but we do feel the Lord urging us to be prepared in case we do.  The dilemma we have as a family is this:  Ruslan, Archie, Bella and Franya could leave for the US without a problem, but our other children could not, they don’t have visas.  Our desire is to keep our entire family together if we have to leave. The thought of separating is painful.     We have been in touch with the US Embassy and they say that we can apply for visas for the kids. So, we are going to begin working on this.

Here’s how you can help

• Prayers – we trust God and know that He is in control.
• Finances – we also know that picking up our entire family and leaving will not be easy.  
• We need about $1700 to apply for visas
• We will need to make sure we have an emergency fund for if we need to leave of around $10000-12000.

With gratefulness and continued trust in the Lord to finish the work He has begun!
