Happy Thanksgiving!!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, his love endures forever.

Psalm 118:1

We are so thankful for our faithful Sprinter Van which we are able use for transporting our “special friends” to and from their club each Wednesday as well as church. They all look forward to having a bible lesson, doing a craft, learning life skills, computer skills, taking field trips to museums and simply being together. Through this ministry and our camps from the summer, we have several of our special friends and their mothers attending church every Sunday!

Ruslan and I recently had the joy and privilege of attending a conference in Kyiv with over 50 couples who have adopted or are guardians to over 600 children! We had praise and worship, seminars on different topics that were so helpful to us on understanding ourselves and our children, and a wonderful time of prayer for all of our children, the lighted bracelets picture is a representation of all of the children that have been adopted or are guardians of each of the couples.

Welcome Winter!!

A few days ago we woke up to a winter wonderland! It has been several years since we’ve woken up on a November morning to a snow covered lawn! This has been such a good reminder to us of how good our Father is to us, giving us a warm house, plenty of food, clothing, vehicles, work and plenty of opportunities to serve Him.

With predictions of a harsh winter, so many families are struggling to make ends meet, the price of gas has gone up again and the price for groceries continues to rise daily. We would like to help some families in need this season, at least put food on their tables for almost a month. We are looking to bless 100 families this year with food packages to feed their families over the holidays. $20/food bag will help feed a family for almost a month, please be in prayer with us as we are very excited to share our blessings with others over the holidays.

Urgent request: The nearby orphanage where we took Sasha a few weeks ago, contacted us today and asked for some help in providing underwear for 120 children, leggings for 50 girls and winter hats for 50 children. We need around $500 to provide these items. Please pray with us as we will trust the Lord to provide all that is needed.
